The July B.O.D. was a total success and the North Star Chapter was honored to be able to host it! Everyone made it to the meeting safely and home again. Thanks to all the ABATE members who travelled a long way to get here and attend. A big thank you to all the members of the North Star Chapter who pitched in and made everything go smoothly. From planning the location, getting the room prepared and to the chapter "cooks" who put all the food together for breakfast and lunch. Those meals got very good reviews from all who ate.As president, I am damn proud of my members for the fine job they did. We were even able to raise some money for the MRF. Which brings me to the biggest issue facing motorcyclists. Government's efforts to further interfere with our freedoms and choices. Again, write those letters to local representatives and ask them to help with our cause and thank the ones who do already and have sponsored legislation that protects our freedom of choice.
